Jeep Station Wagon
During this time there were various Jeep
station wagons produced. Production of the Jeep Station Wagon began in
1946. For the most part it was a traditional looking station wagon of
its time with pressed side steps, but with a Jeep grill and chrome on
the hood. The body was on a steel chassis and fixed with Jeep’s engine
and transmission.
While in production the Jeep Station Wagon has many different color
choices, details and trim options. In 1962 the Jeep Station Wagon was
replaced with the Wagoneer. The Wagoneer also was a 4x4 vehicle, but
much more modern in style and comfort.
